If the flame dances too high, let it rest, then trim the wick to ¼ inch (6 mm) — ½ inch (15 mm)

- Burn on a stable, heat-safe surface — away from drafts, children, pets, and anything that can catch fire.
- Trim wick to ¼ inch (6 mm) before each light — never longer than ½ inch (15 mm).
- Keep flame at least 12 inches from walls, curtains, or ceilings.
- Extinguish fully before leaving the room — use a snuffer or gentle blow; never water.
- Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains — to protect your holder and your home.
